We work closely with our partners to cultivate entrepreneurship in the Durham community. In the past, we have collaborated with local restaurants such as Monuts, Ninth Street Bakery, Cucciolo Osteria and many more to supply dinner.
We also partner with organizations such as Duke I&E, American Underground, NCIdea, Forward Cities, Provident 1898, and others, to provide grants and additional support. Through the generous help of our partners, we're able to reach more community members each year than ever before.
Sponsoring of meals - we plan to cater for ~150 attendees. In collaboration with other local restaurants and entrepreneurs, you would collaborate with the Durham community in providing a meal for discussion and collaboration.
Sponsoring raffle prizes - Prizes may vary, from meal vouchers to gifts which a person could take home.
Any additional donations - All proceeds go to the winning entrepreneur’s presentation. You could play a key part in accelerating their idea to fruition.
DCI dinners support your business through community-based development and growth. We'd love to work on any type of partnership, but potential avenues of promotion include:
Brand awareness - Place your brand in front of community-minded students and members of the Duke and Durham community. Sponsors can benefit from prime booth real estate, in-person signage, inclusion in programming and logo placement opportunities.
Social media visibility - Other forms of brand awareness can stem from coverage and promotions via Durham Community Incubator’s social media on Facebook, Instagram and more. Our partnerships with entrepreneurial organizations such as Forward Cities, American Underground, and NC IDEA provide us with a greater platform to advertise any initiatives of your team.
Media coverage - In the past, the Duke Chronicle has covered our event and we anticipate Duke-related news outlets and other local news desks to cover the event. Our press release would feature the competing entrepreneurs, and would also include local enterprise sponsors (such as yourself) supporting the event.
Other forms of lead generation - Sponsors will receive fully enriched lead files and delegate info for post event demand consumer prospection. Additionally, sponsors are welcome to introduce exclusive discounts and promotions for the DCI audience.
